This weekend marks one year since we moved into our first home!

The entry way...

The Mezzuzah...a gift from Mama & Papa G to bless our home...

We thought we lost this tree last winter during a big frost... in April, Papa G cut it back for us & now it is coming back to life!!!!!

And its gorgeous purple flowers are BACK!!!!!

We even still have roses blooming on our bushes!

And, of course, no picture of the house is complete without a shot of our attack cat, vigilant at his post!

Trust me, you DO NOT want to mess with this dude!

On a completely unrelated, random note... we took a nice walk by the river this morning & caught a nice pic under one of Folsom's beautiful bridges... ENJOY!

Hard to believe it was a little over a year ago you guys got married! Congratulations on your year of firsts!
Oh, and I didn't go to Ponderosa, I was an Oakridge girl. But if I had, and I did know that guy, it would have been the perfect moment to say, "What a small world!"
Happy 1st Home Anniversary! It's exciting for you guys & your house is so fantastic!
Someday maybe I'll get to see it in person ;o)
Most importantly, Henry has had a house of his own for a year now - finally! It's hard to believe it has been a year already.
